Message from the President
by Diane Poldy

What a pleasure and privilege to be writing this message introducing myself as the new VTRCC President! Many of you have seen me around the Chamber for the last two years in different roles: as a member of the Nonprofit Committee, as an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors, or having a good time at Chamber events.

I’ve learned much from VTRCC members, and I’m delighted to be able to “give back” to this great community—especially during our annual Membership Drive, now through April 21. We’re looking forward to more members from the Tysons region joining our growing representation from Vienna. Jim DiModica and his Membership Committee have a great plan for making this happen, and each of you is part of their plan!

I can’t wait to see all the familiar faces, and many new ones, at the Nonprofit Luncheon on March 15 at Maggiano’s. And I hope you’ll bring your colleagues and friends to Casino Night and Taste of the Town, at Westwood Country Club on April 1. But I especially hope each of you will find some time to stop by the Chamber office and say hello. Toni Antonucci, the new Office Administrator and long- time friend and colleague of mine, and I promise you a warm welcome and an atmosphere that will make you want to come back often.

Don't Miss Casino Night!

The colder it gets, the more we look forward to Casino Night & Taste of the Town on April 1 at Westwood Country Club! Our luau cranks up the heat with casino games, prizes, and silent/live auctions. Your $60 ticket includes $25K for gaming, two free drinks, and samplings from many area restaurants. Order by March 21 for an extra $5000 in gaming money! (A 10% discount will be given to those ordering 10 or more tickets.)
