On March 30, VTRCC kicked off our Annual
Membership Drive at Gordon Biersh Brewery. This
event, as well as the April 25 “Sip & Sample” Mixer at
Meadowlark Gardens, is sponsored by Olympia West
Mortgage and JDR Title. The Sip & Sample is the
culmination and celebration of what will be a very
successful membership drive.
As a Chamber, we need to sustain growth to
continue providing community activities, networking,
marketing, support, education and political
representation for our membership. Under the
leadership of Jim DiModica (APT Impact), we have
built competitive teams and set lofty goals to insure
that this will be a beneficial and fun campaign.
Members who sponsor new members will be eligible
for prizes and will be recognized at the Sip & Sample.
New members receive three months of free
membership. This fee is NOT a contribution, but an
investment for your business success.
This investment will give you exposure in promoting
your business, the best business networking
opportunities and opportunities for involvement in a
variety of committees. I’ve made a list of vendors
and friends who are not members. I will be calling
them to share how we can help them become a part
of VTRCC and enhance their businesses!

The second annual American Cancer Society
's Vienna Relay for Life will be held on June 3-4
2006 at Oakton High School. Last year's Vienna
Relay, the first ever for our community, raised over
$450,000 making it the top rookie relay ever and the
top Relay in the greater Washington metropolitan

The third annual X-Out Poverty Golf Class to benefit
Five Talents International will be held on
Monday, June 12 at Westfields Golf Club in Clifton,
Virginia. Five Talents is a faith based non-profit
organization working to reduce poverty in developing
countries using small loans and business training.

$50,000 cash prize and a grand prize raffle drawing!
