2006 Membership Drive
Although recruiting new members is a yearround
priority, our Spring Membership Drive gets us focused
on our goal of growing a bigger, and therefore better,
VTRCC. The 2006 Membership Drive technically ended
May 24, with a gala celebration at the offices of
OlympiaWest Mortgage and JDR Title companies,
sponsors of this year’s drive. The Chamber will waive
the new member processing fee for the month of
June, however, for any potential new members who
were unable to make the May 24 sign-up deadline.
To date, forty-two new members have joined the
Chamber as a result of the Membership Drive. Dues
Renewal notices for the 2006- 2007 member year
have been mailed and are due by July 1, 2006. If all
current members renew, our membership will be over
500!
Help us reach this milestone of growth by sending in
your 2006-2007 dues and contacting all those
potential new members just waiting to join. Be sure
your name is on the application for every new
member you sponsor, because the top recruiters will
be revealed at the June 22 Joint Mixer.

Member of the Month
Claire is the consummate Chamber member. Her
creativity and hard work are evident in every aspect
of VTRCC – she designed and maintains our Web site;
she has been one of the masterminds, as well as a
workhorse, for Casino Night, the Halloween Parade,
the Carnival, and the Golf Tournament for the last 3
years. Her graphic talents are responsible for all the
great posters and print materials that are the public
face of VTRCC. She knows more than any other
person about the history and working of the
Chamber, because she has done it all!
Claire Liston started C. Liston Communications in January 1998 to provide top-notch communications services to organizations who didn't have staffing in that area. She specializes in creating 'big business' standards of appearance for small businesses and nonprofits, even on a budget, from needs assessment through logo design and corporate identity. Claire is also a Web site designer who has created many stunning custom sites-- but she is most proud to be one of a minority of designers who has been available to service client websites over many years.
