Message from the Chairman
by Billy Thompson, All Star Movers

I hope you were able to join us at the Vienna-Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce Carnival at Nottoway Park over the weekend of 9/7-9/10.

If you haven’t experienced a carnival at Nottoway Park, you really don’t know what you have missed. The-tree shrouded setting is absolutely beautiful. Except for a brief shower Friday night the weather was perfect. Jolly Shows does an incredible show and the cleanliness of their operation really lends to the comfort and enjoyment.

It was truly an exciting experience for the many families and thrill seekers who attended. As people left, I asked them how they enjoyed the Carnival. All the responses I received were positive with glowing thanks and appreciation for the event.

An event of this magnitude isn’t accomplished without a host of volunteers and sponsors. Many thanks to our Gold sponsors- Tysons Dodge Jeep, All State Insurance (Alissa Locke), Curves-Tysons Corner, The UPS Store-Vienna, WAVA and Imagine Design. I also would like to thank the Jaycees (especially Scott Heinrich) and the Optimist Club for providing their energetic volunteers.

Finally I would like to thank the members of the VTRCC for all of the preparation and hard work in making our Carnival a success. Special recognition does need to be extended to our Carnival Chairman Bob Stemetzki (The Burdette Smith Group, CPAs) Greg Bauer (Vienna Lending Group) and Sean McKlveen (Signarama-Tysons Corner).
