The First Annual Softball Slam, a collaborative effort between the Town of Vienna and the Vienna Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce will be held on Thursday, May 15, at 5:30 pm at Waters Field in Vienna. The teams, comprised of local men and women, have been formed and are preparing for a showdown. An Awards Reception with the travelling trophy will follow in the parking lot of the Vienna Fire Station. Town Officials and special guests will be on hand to distribute gifts and prizes that have been donated by local businesses. The Softball Slam is being held as a part of Virginia Business Awareness Week 2008 (May 11-17).

Vienna Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce is now recruiting players for the First Annual Softball Slam! Men and women of all different skill levels are needed to play.
